From June 16 to 20, 2025, Memphis (Tennessee) hosted a new edition of the ASME Turbo Expo, the most important international event dedicated to energy and applied research.

Organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the event brings together thousands of experts, researchers, and leading companies each year to share experiences, results, and visions for the future of energy technology.

ILT Tecnologie also took part in the 2025 edition and, in collaboration with Sesta Lab, presented the talk:
“Inside S-TECH: Next-generation Test Rig for Combustion Research”

During the session, Vittorio Conte (R&D Engineer, ILT Tecnologie) and Giulio Grassi (Director, Sesta Lab) presented the S-TECH project, a next-generation test rig jointly developed to accelerate combustion research.

The S-TECH test rig is a modular and versatile platform equipped with advanced control systems and high-precision diagnostic tools such as PIV, OH-PLIF, and Rayleigh thermometry, designed to support experimental studies and the validation of numerical models.
This solution helps bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application, enabling faster and more effective technology transfer.
